* Khatta Meetha: Cape of Good Films Private Limited, Shree Ashtavinayak CineVision of khatta Meetha is primarily a satire on the construction and municipal contacts in India, told through the life of an entrepreneur " Sachin Tichkule " played by Akshay Kumar.
Akshay known for her roles in warm-blooded Punjabi Munda makes this smooth transition in this comedy adventure directed by Priya Darshan. The dynamic duo known for its ease of striking gold at the box office blockbusters such as Hera Pheri with 'Bhagam Bhag' and 'Bhoolbhulaiyaa are willing to make magic again with his latest film khatta Meetha.
The film also includes newcomers Trisha Krishnan, Rajpal Yadav, Johnny Lever, Makrand Deshpande Gunaji Milan, Asrani, Jaydeep, Atul Purchure, Aruna Irani, Urvashi Sharma, Paritosh, Kulbhushan Kharbanda Vijayan and Gita.
Trisha, who made his debut in Bollywood with this film, played in over 30 films in the south. Priya Darshan Infact Trisha had his first opportunity in a Tamil film called "Lesa Lesa.
The film is been presented by Hari Om Entertainment Company in association with Shree Ashtavinayak Cine Vision Limited and on box office from 23rd July, 2010.
* Once Upon A Time In Mumbai: Milan Luthria’s Once Upon a Time in Mumbai is seen through the eyes of a policeman. It traces the changing face of the Mumbai underworld and how it all began.
The film, mostly located in the Bombay of 1970, following the rise of the Sultan (Ajay Devgan), and the conflict at the time of his protege Shoaib (Emraan Hashmi), the challenges to its supremacy and power of government usurps the Dark belly Mumbai.
The film comes in a retro chic and glamorous is a return of powerful and fast at the age of gold. Once Upon A Time In Mumbai is on Box office on 30 July 2010.
* Peepli Live: Now, it comes with a satire on the growing gap between rural and urban India, on the basis of farmers' suicides, sensationalism and political corruption of the media.
Peepli Live follows two poor farmers who may lose their land for the unpaid debt after poor monsoon rains. A local politician has suggested that suicide if their families can obtain compensation from the government. The story of these farmers has been leaked to the press and the media is a fit of rage.
It will not be as large as three idiots (Aamir Khan is only the producer), but it will leave no stone unturned. Has already started the promotion of the film with a video taking a dig himself:
The film, due out Aug. 13, has already received many thumbs-up in international festivals, the Berlin and Sundance, where it was nominated for a grand jury. Indian critics also welcomed the film and the film critic advisor Meenakshi Shedd wrote in The Economic Times in February that "the film deals with caste, class, politics, and media in an explosive cocktail."
